On Thursday, 2011/02/21, the opening ceremony of the Semnan cultural and art complex was held, with the presence of the Governor and Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Semnan province.
Semnan’s large cultural and art complex is built on an area of one hectare with a floor area of more than 10,000 square meters. According to Farshid Fallah, Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Semnan Province, this project includes the educational, cultural, administrative, exhibition, service units. Cultural and historical features of Semnan province have been utilized in the design.
The Semnan cultural and artistic complex project has been approved in the President’s first trip to Semnan. On the second trip, this project and its importance had been emphasized.
The complex is currently under construction and will be built near Sina Hospital, on the southern side of Semnan’s Komesh Park. The employer is the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the contractor is Omran Azarestan Company.
